The name already betrays it a bit, the "Quiet Pack" exhaust silencers give a quiet but deep sound. These are "retro" mufflers, introduced in the mid-60s.
There are two models, the "Single Quiet Pack" where the output is directed to the right and the "Dual Quiet Pack" which is double (to the left and right).
All silencers are available in black paint for transport and the most common ones also have a ceramic coating. The black transport paint is intended to prevent rust in our warehouse. If you want the silencer to stay black, you will have to treat it regularly with heat resistant paint. Immediately after using the muffler, the paint will peel off considerably. As an option, for some models you can choose a silencer with a chrome ceramic coating. Due to the high processing temperature of 650º, an impenetrable layer against corrosion is formed, which extends life and lowers the temperature.
Please note: The ceramic layer offers a longer service life, but is not a guarantee against rust from the inside or outside; if the ceramic layer is damaged, it is not stainless steel.
The black silencers have a chrome end, while the ceramic-coated version has a chrome end. Supplied with mounting hardware and a seal between silencer and spaghetti (also available separately as a spare part).
As with many sports mufflers, you need more than just the muffler. You still need the spaghetti that makes the connection between the cylinder heads and the muffler, see the "options" tab. Attention: If you already have a spaghetti, check the distance between the fixing holes of the silencer . It must be ± 58 mm and the upper mounting hole must be at 1 o'clock (except for type 3 which is at 11 o'clock). If this information is correct, it does not guarantee that the silencer will fit your existing spaghetti. We therefore recommend that you order a matching spaghetti immediately, so that you are at least assured of having a suitable exhaust combination.
