The entire electrical wiring is filled with different types of terminals, some are universally applied to every Volkswagen model and others are only used in certain applications such as plugs and/or sockets. There is also a distributor that connects multiple spade plugs on a single connection, which is often applied to the fuse box.
Corroded cable terminals and electrical distributors can cause many failures, so it is important that they are clean. You will need to replace a damaged cable terminal.
For crimping, you will need a crimping tool that will allow you to crimp the conductor and wire insulation onto the cable terminal. When purchasing, keep in mind that the pliers are suitable for non-insulated cable terminals. Our complete line consists of non-insulated cable terminals only and are identical to what was originally applied.
Note : You can't crimp any cable to any cable terminal, each terminal is listed for what thickness of cable it is suitable for. So take the diameter of the cable into account when ordering, if you do not know exactly what the diameter of the cable will be, order all sizes, then you are always right. If applicable, the tab "related parts" shows the same cable terminals but intended for a different wire diameter.
