If your Volkswagen Bus is equipped with air conditioning, there is often a puddle of water under the car after the drive. Do not have your water pump replaced immediately, this could very well be due to the air conditioning draining.
The hot air in the car is cooled and this causes water vapour (condensation). The water droplets are transported by the air conditioning system to the drip tray and then drained outside through a hose, which is perfectly normal. If water is dripping, you need to do something about it, as the pipes may be clogged, causing the drip tray to overflow, or the drip tray itself may be leaking. As a Volkswagen Bus ages, the latter happens with regularity, excessive corrosion causes holes.
The drip tray mentioned here will never have to be replaced, it is made entirely of stainless steel. All connections are made by TIG welding (the best possible welding quality).
